Maryann Mueller was raised in a small town outside Pittsburgh. Developing an early interest in writing, she crafted many stories in her childhood. Written expression became a large part of her life.
Maryann moved to Houston in the spring of 2002, and married her husband Mark on Valentine's Day 2009. When Mark died from a sudden heart attack in 2014, she put pen to paper and poured out her tumultuous emotions. In the process, she discovered the unbiased flow of words to be a powerful healing modality that helped bring understanding to her unfamiliar world.
Maryann has written for several books in the Grief Diaries series, and coauthored Through the Eyes of a Widow, and now Surviving Sudden Loss. She lives with her three dogs, Pongo, Hannah and Max, and continues to write about life experiences to bring comfort to others sharing her path.
