Earl Thor

Born and raised in Missouri, I’ve lived most of my life in Northern California with my wife of fifty-five years. My educational background in math and computer science enabled a career in clinical systems software development at Kaiser Permanente.

While many parents worry about their wayward children, my wife and I have experienced the opposite: a son who worries because his parents don’t share his religious beliefs. My response took me on my own spiritual journey to understand both myself and our son – I wrote this novel.

This was my first book. I spent five years in research, then another five years in writing, an endeavor that would not have been possible without a devoted wife and the inspiration of a loving son and daughter. I’ve had the time of my life, and a new perspective.
