Claudia Smith

Claudia Smith’s passions are art and writing. After graduating from Michigan State University, she taught English, history and art to high school students. After a hiatus of moving to Arizona and raising a family, she worked in the newspaper industry as a copy reader, editor, writer, cartoonist and illustrator. She resumed painting in fine art, with her accompanying poems. Her writing is seen in various local publications. She continues today with her recently published children’s book, Johnny’s Pockets.
