Stella Fosse writes paranormal and erotic fiction, as well as nonfiction, for women past midlife. She is the author of the Blood Sisters Chronicles, a historical paranormal series about immortal women across the centuries. Its premise: women become more powerful with age - especially after 500.

The Sword of Vivienne is Book One of the Blood Sisters Chronicles. Vampires of a Certain Age is Book Two, moving from medieval Yorkshire to modern Chicago. Each novel stands alone.

Stella's fiction also includes The Erotic Pandemic Collection and Brilliant Charming Bastard. Her nonfiction books for older women writers are Aphrodite's Pen: The Power of Writing Erotica after Midlife and Write & Sell a Well-Seasoned Romance. Her essay collection, Rock On: Power, Sex and Money after 60, was shortlisted for the 2025 Advantages of Age Nonfiction Award.

Stella created and leads Crone Authors Together, a forum for older women authors, and co-founded CroneHub, an online hub for older women's culture. She writes the Substack column Creative Crones with Stella Fosse.

Stella hails from California and shares the joy and empowerment of writing past midlife with women in her adopted state of Oregon. She enjoys gathering online with women all over the world to write and laugh together.
