Growing up with a significant stuttering problem, I always wondered why people were cruel and hurt one another, when love seemed so simple and felt spectacular. Even as a child, those observations made me wonder about the meaning of life, why humans suffer and whether enduring love truly exists. In adulthood, these questions led me to explore ancient wisdom from Western and Eastern philosophers, sages and spiritual masters. I reasoned that information which has inspired humanity for thousands of years contains important teachings.

Merging the necessary philosophy, psychology and practices to experience wholeness, inner peace and mindfulness is complicated and requires unlocking the mysteries of being human. As a psychiatric social worker, clinical psychotherapist and Mind Body Spirit transformational teacher for forty-five years, I have witnessed both love and human angst on a daily basis. Enduring love and true happiness have proved to be elusive quarries, and I noted when something worked or missed the mark.

Resolving life’s paradoxes and the mysteries confronting people in their day-to-day lives became my profession, but what philosophy, literature and psychological advancements teach us about love, happiness and suffering became my true passion. Good science, psychology, philosophy and spirituality align naturally when immortal wisdom is accessed. People sense this intuitively and inner peace and love flow easily. My heartfelt wish is that every reader can be inspired and learn effective tools to stay there.
