L. M. Hermoza

L. M. Hermoza is a Peruvian writer who has lived in Europe for more than twenty years.

He is the author of the novel 'La madre rata' (The Rat Mother), a finalist in two international literary competitions, and 'La trilogía del signo' (The Trilogy of the Sign), a collection bringing together his three poetry books published in the United Kingdom, Mexico, Peru, and France.

His background combines creative writing with academic research. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Romance Philology from the University of Barcelona, a Master's degree in Romance Languages and Civilizations from Paris Nanterre University, and a Master's degree in Education and New Technologies from the Open University of Catalonia. He is currently a PhD candidate in Literature at the University of Toulon, France.

Throughout his career, he has developed a number of literary and cultural initiatives. In Barcelona, he founded the digital literary magazine 'La Siega' (2004–2011). In Paris, he led the Cornelist Association: For a Planet Without Humans, publishing several literary fanzines in both Spanish and French. He also served as co-editor of the literary anthology '2+' (2020) and the literary magazine 'OJOXOJO' (2020–2024).

In addition to his literary work, he has worked in communications, language education, and as a sailor on the River Seine. His writing explores the margins of society, memory, identity, and the contradictions of the human condition.
