Adair Rowan

Growing up on the north side of St. Louis, Adair Rowan, was part of the desegregation student program which shipped him and his elder brother out to the Bayless School System in South County. Graduating from Bayless Sr. High School in the class of 1990, Adair went on to attend, SLCC Flo Valley, where he received an Associate Degree in Mass Communication in 1993. Spending 10 years at Western Union's Bridgeton office, he eventually made the move to Houston TX in 2003, Adair went on to stretch his various talents and gifts. In 2008 he wrote and performed the vocals on a Gospel Recording called A Call to the Spirit Man. In the Fall of 2008, Adair went back to school to complete his Baccalaureate degree in Radio Television and Film at Texas Southern University (Go Tigers) graduating in 2010. Being unashamed of hard work, Adair has worked in the fast food industry, and various customer service positions including client account management. While attending TSU, Adair found a passion for photography and video production. As the owner/operator of Adauro Photography, in Houston, Adair enjoys capturing the love between couples during their engagement, wedding day, and in some cases, when their families grow.

Adair has loved writing for many years in various formats such as songwriting, poetry, screenwriting, science fiction, faith-based writing including faith based fiction. He has been known to enjoy various types of literature from The Shack; by William Paul Young, the Rendezvous with Rama series by Arthur C Clarke, Greg Bear novels, Dean Koontz novels, Octavia Butler (The Kindred), Star Wars novels (in their many iterations), His first novel, Concentric Relations was started in the early 90's. During this time, he worked for Western Union and attending Friendly Temple Missionary Baptist Church (Pastor Michael Jones). He rewrote, and edited this story multiple times over their years, always questioning the quality.

Currently, Adair is a husband, and father of 2 boys. He attends The Church Without Walls in Houston TX, Pastored by the Rev. Dr. Ralph Douglas West. #IAMTCWW. Adair is currently working on two additional novels in between his Adauro Photography responsibilities. Amongst all of these things, being a father and husband, Adair is also a movie lover, St. Louis Cardinal fan, Houston Astros, Rockets & Texan fan. He follows Texas Southern University Sports and Debate as well as Texas A&M Sports.
