Phoebe Ravencraft

Phoebe Ravencraft is a transfemme author of queer fantasy centering sapphic, trans, and gender-nonconforming characters. She awakened to her identity later in life – long after she’d been writing from a female perspective. Consequently, LGBTQ+ representation is incredibly important to her.

Drawn to strong, thoughtful women, Phoebe creates femme characters who think and feel as hard as they fight. A recovering English major, she can’t help but weave serious themes into even her most action-driven tales, where villains wield systemic oppression as a weapon and the love of a chosen family helps her heroines heal their wounds and finally become themselves.

Phoebe lives in Spain with her beloved spouse and brother-in-law. She wishes she were more like Margo Hanson and less like Willow Rosenberg.
