J.M. Crawford

Johanne is a writer, autism advocate and mother of a son with severe autism. Through sharing her personal story, she hopes to raise awareness of this growing diagnosis and the need to bridge the gap between public education and adult services. Most of all, she hopes it inspires others to find fortitude and faith within themselves and know that their voice matters. She continues to work with special needs students in the public-school system and live in her Habitat for Humanity Home on Cape Cod.
