About the translator: Ulf Dunkel is a German businessman, politician, author and intactivist who has been campaigning since the summer of 2012 for the non-medical circumcision of boys to be legally banned. Reading the original of the book "Unauspeakliche Vermümmelungen" prompted him to translate it into German, because not only the reports of the men concerned touched him deeply, but also the author's analysis of what happens to men who are Experiences from her so-called "circumcision coma" awaken. A victim of early childhood trauma himself, he also had such a triggering experience while watching the well-known documentary "It's A Boy!" about infant circumcision in late 2012. This provoked a public, media-controversial outburst of anger and prompted him to write his Poem on the Abolition of Human Rights for Boys in Germany to express his anger at people who do traumatizing things to defenseless children. He remains committed to the integrity of all children and sees the translation and distribution of this book as a contribution to that. Among other things, Ulf Dunkel is the editor of the IntactiWiki at https://intactiwiki.org. With the translation of the standard work "Circumcision: The Hidden Trauma" into German, he continues his commitment as an intactivist.
