Marko Realmonte is the bestselling author of the Jake Weston Mystery trilogy, known for its unapologetically queer sleuth and an above-average number of suspicious deaths. When he’s not busy plotting fictional crimes, Marko serves as the Marketing Director for Games For Love, a children’s charity bringing distraction therapy to over 3 million hospitalized kids—because apparently, saving the world one smile at a time and writing murder mysteries isn’t too much to juggle.
His most recent published work is Paris, a romantic short story in the award-winning anthology Cupid Shot Me. It’s proof that love can be complicated, heartfelt, and occasionally hilarious (but thankfully, less murderous than his usual fare).
Marko lives in a sleepy beach town on California’s Central Coast, where he is shadowed by Beau, a Labrador with main-character energy. He is currently working on a queer-leaning fantasy novel, where dragons are real, but straight protagonists are purely mythical.
He also wrote a screenplay sequel to Call Me By Your Name, because someone had to.
