Ziad Hammoodi

Ziad Hammoodi was born in Asira north Nablus, Palestine on 1944. He grew up over the mountains of Palestine, under the olive trees and among the Grape vineyards. On 1963, he worked for one year as a teacher in Saudi Arabia. On 1964 he obtained one scholarship from Algeria where he was graduated as Telecommunication Engineer on 1969 and another scholarship from France where he was graduated as Doctor Engineer in Electronics and Computer Science on 1974. He returned to Algeria to work for the National Company of Electricity and Gas and in Algiers University. Then on 1979 he moved to UAE where he worked for ADNOC. On 2000, he immigrated with his wife, two sons and one daughter to Canada.

ولد زياد حمّودي في عصيرة الشمالية، شمال نابلس ، فلسطين عام 1944. نشأ وترعرع فوق جبال فلسطين، تحت أشجار الزيتون وبين كروم العنب. في عام 1963، عمل لمدة عام كمدرس في المملكة العربية السعودية. في عام 1964 حصل على منحة دراسية من الجزائر حيث تخرج كمهندس اتصالات عام 1969 ومنحة أخرى من فرنسا حيث تخرج كمهندس دكتور في الإلكترونيات وعلوم الكمبيوتر في 1974. ثم عاد إلى الجزائر للعمل لدى الشركة الوطنية للكهرباء و الغاز وفي جامعة الجزائر. ثم انتقل عام 1979 إلى الإمارات العربية المتحدة حيث عمل لدى شركة البترول أدنوك.

في عام 2000 ، هاجر مع زوجته وولديه وابنته إلى كندا.
