Sukhdev Virdee

Sukhdev Virdee was born in Nairobi, found his first home in music, and released a debut Punjabi pop album in Mumbai that became a chartbuster across India and beyond.

Just before his 40th birthday, three friends independently gifted him the Bhagavad Gita within two weeks of each other. A year later, during morning meditation, the sense of being a separate individual dissolved completely. What remained was pure Awareness — alive, undeniable, one with everything.

That experience led to eight years of deep immersion in the Upanishads and Advaita Vedanta. Not to find what had already been recognised — but to understand it so completely that he could help others see it too.

Sukhdev is the author of 15+ books on Self-realisation, all written in accessible story form with no prior philosophical knowledge required. His flagship work is the bestselling six-book I Am Consciousness series. His latest work, The Pathless Path*, is a five-book series continuing that journey.*
