Joseph GM

Joseph GM was born and raised in the highlands of Kenya’s Rift Valley. Early in his childhood the family moved a lot, giving him an experience of a 'nomadic' upbringing. Consequently, Joseph attended four primary schools before he went to high school! Adjusting to these new environments as a kid was not always easy, but the inevitable that included bullying, made him grow up mentally, and from an early age he learnt to adapt to change.

Joseph joined Uni to do his Bachelors, where he initially majored in mathematics before pursuing IT. He started his career as an IT professional in Nairobi, where he worked for various organizations including a local media house.

Joseph migrated to Australia in the first decade of the 2000s. He trained further in telecommunications and worked in Queensland for a Telecom company, and then as an ICT & Data Support Officer for a regional council in Far North Queensland. He then moved to Victoria where he joined a telephony business firm that supported a country-wide network of medical clinics, working as an IT&T Field Tech, traveling to work in Victoria, Tasmania, and Southern Australia.

After several years in this work, Joseph branched out to other areas outside of Information Technology.

It is around this time that he started writing from events that affected his personal life. These experiences are captured in the book “The Jezebel spirit”, and by articles published online in liveinvictory.org.

Joseph lives with his wife in South East Melbourne.
