Deborah Karabin

Deborah Karabin, a lifelong Chicagoan, has spent her career as a creative content writer, marketing brand strategist, retailer, fashion commentator and now author.

Her love of fashion, France & Italy and her beloved pet poodle Metro were the ingredients that "baked" her books for children. In fact getting published was a promise she made to Metro who always sought the spotlight and, of course, a treat or two.

Younger kids can learn how words rhyme in the whimsical picture book THE PUPPY WHO LIKED TO DRESS UP which covers Metro's early years. For a chapter book and Metro's teenage years there is THE AMERICAN POODLE IN PARIS which tells of her daring adventure to the Parisian capital. It includes coloring book pages for inspiring fashion designers who can dress Metro in their own doggie attire.
