Hi to all my lovely readers!

Just a little bit of information about me and my writing career. I write in a variety of genres - chunky historical drama based on real life events, such as When Winter Comes, which is the story of the Donner Party. Regency romantic comedies, inspired - of course! - by Jane Austen and Georgette Heyer. And contemporary romantic comedies, probably inspired by my early addiction to the Jilly Cooper 'girls' names' books - Octavia, Harriet et al. I enjoyed her 'bonkbusters' but I lcan't write sexy scenes without laughing so probably not a good idea. I've always written but didn't get anything published until I was in my sixties, so my message to all aspiring authors is, just keep going, do it because you love it, and enjoy the process!
