Ralf Reiter

Ralf Reiter, born in Petersholz, Germany, in 1962, is a passionate photographer, author, and skipper. Raised in Frankfurt and Würzburg, he completed technical training and moved to Stuttgart, where he devoted himself intensively to photography. His works primarily capture landscapes and people from his numerous travels. He has lived in Zurich since 2007 and has been sailing around the world on his boat since 2019. In his books, including illustrated volumes such as “French Polynesia” (2019) and travelogues such as “No Wind to Shangri-La” (2025), he shares authentic experiences from the Pacific and beyond. As a freelance artist, he combines visual and narrative elements to create inspiring adventure stories.
