Bill COBB

Hi, my name is Bill Cobb.

I am 77 years of age and I now live in a Retirement Village in Birmingham, UK.

I have been diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia. Writing my books keeps. my mind active and helps to keep me going.

I have only been writing for about 2 years. At first, I wrote Poetry Books, covering many of the aspects of our every day lives.

I was invited to a local school. I had written a short story within a Children's Book, about a Dormouse named Dinky. This was well received by the school and has encouraged me to write further stories. All of my Books are told in Verse. Latterly. I am drawing my own illustrations. I am told that I draw rather like a child, which pleases me.

I do not sit down specifically to write a book, words come into my head and so the story begins.

Proceeds from the sale of my books has allowed me to support, Dementia Charities in my own small way.

My most recent book, 'A Boy, a Pony. The Story of their Lasting Friendship', is available as an ebook.

There is a Paperback Version, entitled 'For the Love of a Pony'.

Some of my other bools are about a Dormouse named 'Dinky'.

Dinky Dormouse. Adventures in Bluebell Wood.

Dinky Dormouse. Christmas Edition.

Dinky Dormouse meets Charlie Robin.

My latest Poetry Book is entitled:

Conversations with my Mind.

All are available as Paperbacs at Amazon.
