I’m a retired accountant who enjoys managing my own retirement account and have been a student of the markets since the early '70s. Being married with four children and eight grandchildren has been a blessing and helps to keep me focused on the important things in life.
I started keeping a journal of the daily market activities and index values in order to have a reference in case of the need for review and to force myself not to ignore any one day’s market activities. This routine keeps my mind focused and my keyboarding skills up to snuff.
When making decisions on which stocks or limited commodities to trade, I rely on technical analysis and the fundamentals of the company and am perfectly at ease reading and making judgements on the basis of both.
I subscribe to a company called “StockCharts.com” that provides significant resources to its members from a strictly technical perspective and also use “Yahoo Finance” and “Fidelity” for financial information on companies.
