Ms. Weston has enjoyed a distinguished career in the field of Professional Management, intervening in crises, solving difficult problems, snatching success from the brink of failure and inspiring individual development and team achievement. Ms. Weston is a recipient of Medtronic, Inc. Win Wallen Leadership Award. For decades, she would state, "My career is what I do. Writing is who I am."
Nancy has written in many forms all her life: Technical writing, journaling, short stories, poetry, and novels. Outside of work as a means of recreation, processing, and self-expression. Now, retired, she is devoted full time to writing and it turns out, she is a storyteller.
Her first novel was a moving read and a remarkable work as a debut work. Her second was a memoir detailing the journey she and her mother embarked upon unexpectedly through Alzheimer's. With her second novel, Ice in the Guise of Fire, we share a departure and romp through the tangles of wealthy and powerful egos and murder. Ms. Weston creates compelling characters for her fascinating and unexpected stories. Her latest novel, The Cruelty of Swallows, is a story about the deepest and most compelling experience of all, for everyone. While the characters deal with love, loss and life, we are reminded that we are all on a short and bittersweet journey. Ms. Weston has a range of deeply human experiences and she is unafraid to sit inside a difficult emotion and not shy away from pain or awakening. Walk this path from book to book, deep connection to extensive inspiration. Looking forward to what comes next!
