I’m a writer with a strong interest in moral philosophy, social justice, and storytelling, and I try to bring thoughtfulness and empathy into everything I create. In addition to my non-fiction projects, I also write self-development and exercise books, hoping to share practical insights for growth and well-being. I enjoy creating notebooks as well, designing them as supportive tools for reflection, planning, and personal growth.
Alongside this work, I explore fiction under the pseudonyms Aubrey Fox and Lucy Shakespeare, finding it a meaningful way to process ideas and express myself creatively. Writing fiction has become a kind of art therapy, providing me with a unique outlet for exploration.
Background
My background is in Community and Youth Studies, and I hold a degree in Creative Writing and Philosophy. Over the past thirty years, I’ve had the privilege of working with communities of all ages, both locally and globally, in various roles across different sectors.
Since 2013, I’ve focused more on writing, blogging, and continuing my studies while working in the nonprofit and social care fields.
As a creative writer, I enjoy challenging myself to explore different genres and narrative styles—it’s a fulfilling way to grow as a writer and keep things fresh.
