Life is a conversation. My life has been a conversation with nature's Whispers. My life has been a conversation with simple things around me. Whispers are simply the act of noticing and listening. The whispers are gifts of grace... Whispered Grace.

The dance of trees whispers and laughs. Reflections, birds in flight, clouds, shadows, tiny flowers, acorns, squirrels being squirrels, the touch of tree bark and crackling leaves, whisper and leave me breathless. While others are glued to their phones, I'm glued to the movements, sounds, and textures around me. I'm happily a simple little hobbit walking through life in awe.

It has not always been that way. With perhaps less than desirable execution, at the age of 57, I took off on my own for three years. I needed to listen. I needed to walk. The Colorado mountains called me into conversation. I again work 50+ hours a week. I am now 65. But, oh, oh yes, the whispers still laugh, cajole, and guide me. Grace.

Whispered Grace, like myself and like the whispers, is a small book and the readings short. The readings are the moments of grace and the opening of the heart, mind, and eyes as I observed the simple things in life. I wanted to leave footprints for others who may think they walk alone. You do not. I wanted to leave footprints for your friend or loved one who felt the whispers had abandoned them. A way for you to say, the whispers have never left.

I leave these footprints and feathers for your journey.
