A L Sylvester was born in Wappingers Falls NY and move to NH while still in Elementary school. About the same time her parents purchased a old abandoned summer house in Raymond Maine. This house had been abandoned for 25 years and was full of bats. As her parents spent many years making this camp livable, A L Sylvester ran around in the woods and swimming in the lake with her brothers and cousins. Having many adventures. This is the place that has inspired A L Sylvester to write her stories.
