DORA GRACE

Dora Grace is an Indian author whose real name is Ashmi Prasad. She is currently living in India with her family. As a professional author, she loves books and her interests lies especially in- traditional crime novels (like Sherlock Holmes and Agatha Christie, her favourite being Poirot) and fantasy novels (like Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling). She also like reading Enid Blyton and Ruskin Bond and has special enchant for spirituality, her favourite being books written by Om Swami.

Apart from books, Dora loves painting and gardening and she always try to plant as many as seeds as possible. She also loves animals and has special place for elephants in her heart. 'They are the most beautiful and the most misunderstood creatures,' she says. Whatever, money she makes from her books, a part of it always goes to the charity supporting- women and children.

She wants to be a successful novelist and her dream is that all her books be converted to a movie or a television series soon...so that millions across the world (even people who don't read stories) can get to know her stories. 'My aim is to get my story to the people. I want them to read it, think about it and probably...like it.'
