Moshe Menasheof is an Israeli writer, philosopher and publisher.
Menasheof was born in 1958 in Isfahan, Iran. He attended Ettehad Jewish Alliance school in Isfahan, and made Aliyah to Israel in 1979.
Menasheof finished his bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Jewish thought in 1986 at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
He finished his master's degree in 1994 at Tel Aviv University. He started to write his Ph.D. in Philosophy, researching an original theory about perception and memory, trying to deal with certain problems mentioned in philosophical literature.
In 2008 he established Ktav (Hebrew for "Writing") publishing house.
Menasheof's first book, "Euphoria" (Hebrew: אופוריה), a sci-fi novel, was first published by Kinneret publishing house in 1994. The book depicts a euphoric reality suddenly goes awry.
His second book, "The Virtual Look-alike" , a philosophical sci-fi novel, was published in 2008 by Ktav publishing house.
In 2011 Menasheof published two books, both in Ktav publishing house. "Amos – Redeemer of Fate", a philosophical novel, and "The Treasure on the isle of certainty" , a philosophical lyric poetry collection. The books correspond both with each other and with the works of Persian poet Rumi that he also translated his book.
In 2014 he published another philosophical sci-fi novel "The Others".
In November 2016 he published his main philosophical book "Dream & Memory – an essay on Perception, Memory, Sleeping and Dreaming".
