Nelly Palma

Born in Venezuela, Nelly has dedicated her professional career to preschool education. She has a master’s degree in child development and has served as a school psychologist, preschool teacher, and preschool director. She currently works assessing early childhood educational environments. During the development of her professional life, she has had the opportunity to learn about the benefits of inclusion. That is the message of Johnny’s story, the benefits for all children of growing together regardless of their abilities, and how each child can give a contribution to their community, we just have to allow it.

Nacida en Venezuela, Nelly ha dedicado su carrera profesional a la educación preescolar. Tiene una maestría en desarrollo infantil y se ha desempeñado como psicóloga escolar, maestra y directora de preescolar. Actualmente se dedica a la evaluación de ambientes educativos de edad temprana. Durante el desarrollo de su vida profesional ha tenido la oportunidad de conocer de cerca los beneficios de la inclusión. Ese es el mensaje de la historia de Johnny, los beneficios que trae para todos los niños el crecer juntos independientemente de sus habilidades, y cómo cada niño puede dar un aporte a su comunidad, solo tenemos que permitírselo.
