J R Warnet

J. R. Warnet began his writing career freelancing for local newspapers in South Jersey. J. R. moved on to local online newspapers in the early 2000's; when the newspaper industry started to see a dramatic downturn in publications. He also started writing for magazine features at that time.

After being published in over 25 newspapers and magazines throughout the Tri-State area, J. R. started writing satirical fiction to relive stress about his job. Over the past 10 years, his short stories came together to become his first book: "The Day I Clean My Last Toilet." This book details the inner workings of a public school janitor stuck working a dead end job with only his musings to keep him company.

J. R. holds a B.A. in Creative Writing from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and currently lives along the Jersey Shore with his wife Tia Lyn and cat Salem Annabelle.
