Biography

Patrick Conley enjoys living with his family and writing an occasional novella. Nothing Is But Advertising Makes It So.

My work consists entirely of novellas and short novels along with a collection of short stories. All concern contemporary topics and reflect a variety of literary approaches:realism, magical realism, dystopia, mystery.

Currently I'm working on a short novel featuring Sammy the dog as one of the narrators; all of the other characters are humans engaged in all sorts of jealousy, chicanery, good will, and gossip mongering.

In June 2019, I published "Two Tales for the Twenty Twenties," a collection of two novellas focused upon undocumented workers, scams and reaities in alternative energy enterprises, and race relations. The narratives give a personal touch to issues from the headlines.
