K M Darling

Keyna Darling was born in Lansing Michigan into a family with four brothers and one sister. Michigan has been Keyna's native state for many years. Keyna wrote her first children's book, The Green Strike in 2018 and found that she loved writing and being creative. Keyna has written poetry from the age of eleven and has also written many songs. Writing what she feels and trying to get her messages out to children is Keyna's desire. Keyna plays guitar and piano by ear and enjoys helping children see the value in who they are. Keyna has written for a motion picture animated film in California and sang for our former President George Bush in 2003.

Keyna Darling has won her high school Alumni award for her accomplishments in 2008 the same year she began production on her first film. Keyna resides in Michigan with her one daughter and her oldest daughter resides in Delaware serving as a paramedic. Keyna's oldest daughter also served in the United States Air Force during 9/11.
