Dr. Dewan S. Raja

Dr. Dewan S. Raja a medical doctor, anatomist, public health specialist, health educator, and a tropical medicine specialist. He did a post-doc in pharmacology and toxicology in Nashville, Tennessee as an NHLBI Fellow. He practiced medicine for several years prior to joining as a full term faculty in the medical colleges. He used to teach a variety of medical subjects in Bangladesh, West Indies, and in the USA. Dr.Raja is an ECFMG certified Bangladeshi American. He took his MBBS degree from Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College. He completed his MPhil in Medical Anatomy from the University of Dhaka.He completed MPH from Nova South Eastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He completed a Diploma Course in Clinical Tropical Medicine and Travel Health from the University of West Virginia. Dr. Raja is certified in health education(CHES) and in public health(CPH).
