Allison F. Speer

Allison F. Speer has worked as a nanny, journalist, jewelry maker, zoo employee and teacher. She is the mother of twins and teaches elementary gifted/talented in Fort Worth, Texas. All things "words" are her passion; she loves encouraging students to read and write. Years ago, her third grade class helped her add elements to what eventually became her first children's book, Theodore the Turkey Who Found a Zoo. It was inspired by a true story. In May 2021 she released Faith Flies, a story about a short flamingo who searched for God's purpose in all the wrong places. It is now available on Amazon in e-book, hardback and paperback form. In her spare time, she loves yoga, spending time with her girls, riding bikes and all things TCU. Go Frogs!
