Katie Branch is an associate professor in Human Development & Family Studies at the University of Rhode Island, USA. Her PhD is in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Indiana University; she has a MA in Higher Education and Student Affairs, and a BA in Journalism with a minor in Photography from The Ohio State University. Her research emphasizes the adult development, learning, and success of diverse students in university settings; environmental theory and assessment in higher education; and college student persistence and educational attainment.
