Hicham Rouhana

Between worlds.

Hicham Rouhana’s journey began in the shadows of the Lebanese Civil War. Born in Beirut, a city defined by upheaval, his path eventually led him to Germany in the year 2000. Working as an engineer, he found a new home—yet he discovered that true stability is found not in external structures, but in the inner practice of mindfulness meditation, which he has pursued intensely for over two decades.

For Hicham, meditation is not a practice confined to a cushion. As a passionate climber and mountaineer, he transposes mindfulness into the vertical world. In the steep rock faces and eternal ice, he learned that true mastery lies in "flow": a graceful, supple movement where intuition and mindfulness become one.

In his reflective book "Grundton des Daseins", he explores the transformative practice of meditating on the inner sound of silence, weaving together Eastern philosophy and high-altitude alpine experience.

In his forthcoming work, "Quantum Mary", Rouhana expands his research from the human mind to the cosmos, exploring the fascinating intersections of quantum physics, artificial consciousness, reality, and the future of intelligence. He combines engineering precision with philosophical depth, always investigating the nature of being.
