I've loved reading since I can remember! I love puzzles and mysteries and intrigue, and of all the cities I've been to, Chicago is my favorite. My four years living in Chicago during grad school were wonderful. Plus I love history. And wasn't the 1920's wild? I've always wanted to write a series set in Chicago and now here's my chance.

Note to my readers: I don't write historical fiction. My series is cozy mystery! In that regard, certain details known to the early 1920s in Chicago (radio call signs, business names, etc.) have been altered, and are not typographical errors.

Also, cozy mysteries should be fun! Just as regular people would never be involved with homicide investigations in real life, I do realize that my dear couple are living an idyllic life, unlikely to be seen in real 1920s Chicago.

So if you’re looking for ugly historical realities, gentle reader, please look elsewhere.
