Christy Stillwell is the author of The Wolf Tone, a novel of music, medical marijuana and parenting. The Wolf Tone won the 2017 Elixir Press Fiction Prize. Her chapbook of poetry, Amnesia, was published by Finishing Line Press in 2008. In addition to writing, Stillwell has taught college level writing courses, tutored adults in writing skills, and clerked in bookstores. She has also worked as an editor for college textbooks, student entrance essays, and artists' statements. Her work has appeared in literary magazines such as as Salon, The Rumpus, The Massachusetts Review, Mamalode, Literary Mama and The Tishman Review. She has been honored with a Vermont Studio Center residency and a Wyoming Arts Council Literary Fellowship.
