Graduated in Geography and History from UNED, specializing in Ancient History.

He studied the Bible as a book of archaeology, history and mythology, and its relationship with the civilizations that surrounded it: Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece and Rome.

We cannot judge the events of the past with the mentality of the present. History has been written by the victors, it is the task of historians to investigate and bring out the truth or the closest thing to it through rigorous research.

In my case, History and Literature are united. Walter Scott, Mika Waltari, Robert Graves, Gore Vidal, etc... testified to this. Literature continues to be a force capable of revealing our dreams and inviting us to live them in broad daylight. Whoever writes expresses the dream of man and the world, affirming that we are something more than a machine and an instrument, a little more than that blood that is spilled in dull jobs to enrich the powerful or sustain injustice in power, something more than merchandise and work.

He wrote two essays: "The Assyrian Hills" (The relationship of the Assyrian Empire with the Bible: history, archaeology and mythology) and "The erotic paintings of the baths of Pompeii" (Eroticism and sexuality in ancient Rome). He also wrote two historical novels, "The King's Tomb" and "The Divine Julia", as well as another contemporary novel, "Perhaps when I wake up you've already left". Finally, he also wrote two books of Epicurean reflections, "On the Limits of Ignorance" and "Verses of a Drunk Music Lover".Graduado en Geografía e Historia por la UNED, especialidad Historia Antigua.

Estudia la Biblia como libro de arqueología, historia y mitología, y su relación con las civilizaciones que la rodearon: Mesopotamia, Egipto, Grecia y Roma.

No podemos juzgar los hechos del pasado con la mentalidad del presente. La historia la han escrito los vencedores, es tarea de los historiadores el investigar y sacar a relucir la verdad o lo más cercano a la misma mediante investigación rigurosa.

En mi caso, la Historia y la Literatura están unidas. Walter Scott, Mika Waltari, Robert Graves, Gore Vidal, etc... así lo atestiguaron. La literatura sigue siendo una fuerza capaz de revelarnos los sueños e invitarnos a vivirlos en pleno dia. Quien escribe expresa el sueño del hombre y del mundo afirmando que somos algo mas que una maquina y un instrumento, un poco más que esa sangre que se derrama en trabajos insulsos para enriquecer a los poderosos o sostener a la injusticia en el poder, algo más que mercancía y trabajo.

Imbuido en la religión cristiana durante 25 años, pero la fe, que no tenía ya demasiada, menguó hasta desaparecer. En política, una vena guerrera inquebrantable en favor de los derechos humanos. Y doy gracias a la Historia por abrirme los ojos y obligarme a leer y a valorar los diferentes puntos de vista. Si algo he aprendido es que la verdad no es única, cada uno tiene su verdad y mi tarea es valorar y reflexionar sobre ello. Y en la literatura al expresar nuestros sueños, se nos invita a la rebelión, a vivir despiertos nuestros sueños. La literatura nos señala una futura edad de oro, nos llama a la libertad.
