Renee Knake Jefferson

Renee Knake Jefferson is a law professor and the award-winning author of four books and scholarly numerous articles. She regularly appears on television and radio like MSNBC and National Public Radio affiliates. Her work has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, CNN, Forbes, New York Times, American Lawyer, Christian Science Monitor, and Slate. A world traveler, she is a frequent speaker at top research universities around the globe.

Professor Knake Jefferson holds the Doherty Chair in Legal Ethics at the University of Houston where she is a Professor of Law. In 2019, she was awarded the Fulbright Distinguished Chair in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University. She earned her JD from the University of Chicago Law School.
