About cello Practice...

The sales, even confidential of "Cello Practice – Guidelines & Testimonials about self learning" that I self published in 2019, seem to arouse interest during this pandemic period. I draw the conclusion that many adults would like to start the cello and are looking for advice and testimonials to know what is going on.

My booklet mainly talks about my first years of learning and therefore of a beginner's experience. But after more than ten years of cumulative practice today, this prompts me to deliver further advice and experiences that I hope would motivate self-taught beginners to continue.

The way of teaching to adults how to play a music instrument has progressed. It's the young cello teachers who tell me. The tools available on the internet such as tutorials, Musescore (collection of free scores) as well as the availability of software to create your own scores add interest to play and to improve your practice by your own.

So I am preparing a second edition of my guide. It will include all of my self-taught cello practice experience. I hope that this will help you to decide to get started!
