Diary of a Budding Musician is a deeply personal account of my unexpected journey into music. As an adult beginner, I discovered not only the challenge of learning the cello by my own, but a long time later, the unique experience of becoming part of an amateur ensemble performing klezmer, Romani, and Balkan music. Through moments of doubt, perseverance, humor, and friendship, I tried to reflect on how music can transform the way we see ourselves and connect with others.

Alongside my autobiographical writing, I wrote s.f. novels and essays exploring a wide range of subjects, from science, about climate mostly and society to human relationships. Whatever the genre, my books are united by a common thread: the pleasure of learning, exploring new worlds, and telling authentic stories.
