Lee M Odle

Lee M. Odle was born in the farm fields of west central Indiana, and grew up on her family's 1820's farm homestead. An avid reader, her interests lead her to a love of mysteries and history. Her education after high school took her to work and study at Purdue University in West Lafayette, where she became a proud Boilermaker, earning three degrees in Health Sciences and Technology. Boiler Up!!!

She retired as a Medical Laboratory Technologist after 40 years in the laboratory at the Purdue University Student Hospital/Health Center. Married and back living on the family farm with her husband Wesley, she is enjoying gardening, crafting and teaching part-time at a local community college in the School of Health Sciences, and fulfilling a bucket list dream of writing mystery books, with a super natural theme.

Drawing on her years in health care, she has used her, as she calls it, "crazy" imagination to create the main character of her first book, "An Irish Ghost Story; A Kate Ryan Mystery".

Other stories about Kate Ryan are kicking around in her brain as she is writing her second book of the series.

"I go to sleeping thinking of Kate's story and wake up in the morning and write it all down. Two other gifted characters have entered my dreams, Maggie Collins and Jorja Hamilton, hopefully there will be more stories about them in the future. I hope in my retirement, I can become the 'Grandma Moses' of mystery writing!"
