Chia-Chia Lin

Chia-Chia Lin is the author of the novels The Unpassing (2019) and Tether (forthcoming in May 2027). The Unpassing won the 2020 Clark Fiction Prize and was a finalist for the National Book Critic Circle’s John Leonard Prize and the Center for Fiction’s First Novel Prize.

Lin received an MFA in Fiction from the Iowa Writer’s Workshop. Her short stories and essays have appeared in The Paris Review, The New York Times, and more. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
