Helen Kendrick is an architectural historian and author specialising in European turn-of-the-century architecture and design. She moved to Glasgow from the south of England in 2004 to work on a major Art Nouveau conservation project and has since been involved with a wide variety of Scottish architecture, heritage and urbanism projects.
She is an international cruise-ship guest speaker (focusing on destination architecture), regularly presents talks related to her work, has curated a range of architecture and design exhibitions, contributes to the media on issues regarding Glasgow’s heritage, is Glasgow’s representative for several international heritage groups and has written/edited/contributed to a number of books and catalogues on Scottish and European architecture.
In her spare time she likes walking around the city staring at people's historic interiors through their windows.
