Doug Selwyn

Doug Selwyn has been an educator for more than thirty years, first as a K-12 teacher in public schools, then as a professor of education. He holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Seattle University, was named Washington State Social Studies Teacher of the Year in 1990–91, and was a founding member of North Country Allies for Public Education. He has published several books on education, most recently Following the Threads (Peter Lang, 2009). He lives in Greenfield, Massachusetts, with his wife, writer Jan Maher.
