She has also reached millions globally through high-level multimedia moderation, and speaking engagements on respected platforms such as the World Bank/IMF, United Nations, African Union, U.S. State Department, London Business School, George Mason University, and TEDx, and has authored 10 career, business, and leadership books.

Modesta holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of Durham in England, and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at George Mason University in the U.S. She is also an Advocate of The High Court of Tanzania, Certified Executive Coach, Leadership Development Expert, Business Trainer, Human Resources, Change, and Project Management Professional.
She also serves as a Board Director of The Joule Foundation, a U.S. non-profit focused on equipping African girls for STEAM-related education, and careers.
Modesta is married to Mhando Philemon Mbughuni, and there are parents to two dynamic world changers.
