A poet and musician, E.J. Stallings has worked with rhythm, melody, and sound throughout both careers, where he captures the essence of the human condition through his psychical, spiritual, and emotional experiences. In addition to his musical work for the award-winning Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Stallings’ oeuvre includes poetry, inspirational prose, books, and articles on music, liturgy and intimate compositions for weddings and other spiritual settings. Along with extensive writing workshop experience, including those led by B.H. Fairchild, Rev. Debbie Blue, and Alissa Wilkenson, Stallings holds degrees from Catawba College, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and Georgia State University.
