Married for thirty-four years to Veneeta B. Phelps, Dr. Kenneth D. Phelps is the father of three beautiful children who are his pride and joy: Kenneth (Karina) , Morgan, and David. He is a grandfather to Tye, Kalissa Destiny, and Adriel.

Dr. Phelps holds a B.A. in Computer Information Systems from Wartburg College, a Master of Divinity, and a Doctorate of Ministry degree from Northern Baptist Theological Seminary.
