Andrew Ginter

Andrew Ginter is the most widely read author in industrial / OT security with over 30,000 books in print. He is a trusted advisor to the world's most secure industrial enterprises and contributes regularly to industrial cybersecurity standards and guidance. Today, Andrew is the VP Industrial Security at Waterfall Security where he works with the world’s most secure industrial sites. Before Waterfall, Andrew led the development of SCADA products at HP, IT/OT middleware products at Agilent, and the world's first industrial SIEM at Industrial Defender. He holds degrees in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Calgary.

Personally, Andrew is the eldest of seven children born to German-speaking refugees who made a new life in a strange land and worked hard to live their faith and raise their children. He is married 38 years to a woman he adores, has two grown daughters of whom he is enormously proud, and writes in his spare time.
