Sue Garnett

Sue Garnett was raised on a farm in rural Virginia. As the second of four children, she attended Virginia Tech where she earned a degree in Education in 1979. Sue taught school for 30 years and worked as a Human Resources Manager for a counseling agency for seven years during which time she helped start a private school for children who faced emotional and behavioral challenges in the regular school setting. Her love for children, nature, the arts, and reading has been her inspiration for her books. She's retired now, caretaking for her mom, Hilda, and working on more books!
