Alfie Anfield

Alfie was born in Liverpool, went to art college, played semi professional football and worked in the insurance business before emigrating to Canada. In addition to working in Canada, he also built business relationships in the U.S., England and Bermuda, before retiring. Rather than hanging up his boots completely, he made a come back as an author, capturing the business savvy, humor, satire and poignancy that abounded as four friends with a penchant for a beer met every Friday afternoon. As the meetings blossomed, so did Mere Folly and eventually the series of books.
