Larry Rogers

Larry Rogers has been photographing national parks and wildlife for more than 40 years. He was formally educated in electrical engineering and computer science, but Larry is committed to life-long learning. He stays current with technology in cameras and lenses, as well as imaging software and artistic treatments. A great example of this can be found in his latest book, 'Bridges of Parke County,' which not only showcases wonderful images of nineteenth century wooden covered bridges, but also enables instant turn-by-turn navigation via smartphone directly to any of the twenty-eight bridges in the book!

Larry's passion has always been art and photography. He was given his first camera around age 8 and he cannot recall a time when he did not have a camera.

Following graduation from college, Larry served as an Air Defense Officer in the US Army, a US government civilian employee and small business owner. Throughout, his passion for wildlife, wild places, and the environment fueled his love of photography and the arts. With a burning passion to constantly learn and develop his art to a high level, he now extends his art to new perspectives, flying a drone and publishing affordable books which he hopes will inspire the next generation of conservation and nature photographers.

Larry currently lives in southwest Ohio, in the United States. He is the father of two sons, and grandfather to two granddaughters. Larry welcomes readers to follow and/or contact him via social media, email or comments on his website.
