Rose Linderman

I was a forensic psychologist for just short of 30 years in the state of Minnesota, performing evaluations related to civil and criminal cases. I completed my Psy.D. from the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology (APA accredited) including a 12 month internship at Florida State Hospital in Chattahoochee, FL, followed by earning my ABPP and National Register designations. My forensic psychology practice was located in Austin MN beginning in 1992. In 2010 I moved to the west coast of Florida, continuing to return to Minnesota to serve as an expert in cases related to civil commitment.

This is my first book, with more planned. My first book is a true story of one of my cases. Test- readers described it as, "compelling, fascinating and disgusting" the last adjective related to how my main character was treated and what he went through.

Grains of Truth: Grains of Deceit is a story about the challenges patients can face within a state hospital system. Hopefully this story will prompt discussion and changes to improve patient rights and services. Enjoy and learn.
